Luke

I was reading a small passage in Luke this afternoon and I realized that just because I think I know this passage...I kind of skimmed it! So once I realized this I went back and read it again and again. Haha Just to make sure I really did know it (although I obviously didn't like I thought I did – even though I can quote it). Some things stood out to me as interesting... I was reading about Christ's birth and when the angels appeared to the shepherds... the angel of the Lord appeared to them at night, so wouldn't that make the “glory of the Lord” shine upon them even brighter? I mean, it's like lighting a candle in the dark at night, it makes it even brighter then if you lite it during the day, correct? Or, it stands out even more. During the day you might hardily notice it (not saying that one wouldn't notice the glory of the Lord! I'm positive I would notice it no matter what!) but at night, it would be incredibly harder not to! So I found that interesting, almost like a statement.

Anyways, that's all for now. More to come on this passage later.
