I don't know if I mentioned this but I posted pictures from the worship night on Facebook...haha
So.....I'm very frustrated right now. I registered for classes at UW around the time of my ASL class that I am going to be taking at Highline. And ok..not too bad. But ended up with ALL morning classes....4 days a week...8:30-11:20am classes...then head back home to take ASL! And so...I don't like the idea of ending classes down in federal way everyday because I want to go to the Inn more often or even just hang out with friends after class and if I want to do that, I'll have to drive all the way back up to UW! And so...I'm trying to hunt for some classes so I can take an afternoon class (I have one in mind even!) but I can't find a morning class to go with one I already have. I'm very very frustrated. I guess maybe I'm just meant to have the schedule I have but..I'm not happy with it. I've decided to minor in Comparative Literature by the way. I really have enjoyed the class I am taking and a minor is only 25 credits...and while I'm not in my major I feel like I'm wasting credits...well...now I'm not! I'm registered for two Comparative Literature classes next quarter, although if I can I'll drop one Comp Lit and the English class I'm in so I can pick up an afternoon History class :-) and annnny other class that is in the morning. I know half of this does not make sense but thats ok...I would be more clear about it but I don't like the idea of anyone and everyone being able to know what classes I am taking and when I am taking them...that's how people get stalkers. haha! I know I'm paranoid...what do you expect with the very protective parents I have? Yes...I know, that is a good thing. But oh well. :-) Gotta love being Daddy's little girl and having Mommy as my best friend.
So conclusion of this blog...I'm frustrated with UW classes!!!! Going to go read my bible...I think that would be a very good idea.
Oh, but before I do that. Let me tell you about my yesterday and today! Sooooooo I drive up to school yesterday, get to comparative literature and of course I am ten minutes early (I usually am) and sit...and sit...soon it is ten past and we all decide our teacher is not showing up and leave. So one of the girls from my class (I just met her yesterday!) and I walked down to Starbucks on the Ave and got coffee since neither one of us knew what to do with our all of a sudden free time! Then we drank our coffee and walked down towards Peter's (She lived closer than Peter but decided to walk with me). So then I went and hung out with Peter for a bit and watched a few minutes of Seinfield then we headed out. Stopped at a little store and bought him a drink and walked to our English class (Had killed 2 hours by now). So...get to class (early of course) and pull out my laptop, open up my email to discover an email from our English teacher! Class is canceled!! So I announce that to the class, everyone thanks me for checking my email right then and there so we didn't have to sit there for 20 minutes. So I drove all the way to UW, paid for parking and all for NO REASON! I guess I did get some extra exercise...although it killed my feet cause I was wearing heals. And I also brought Peter home, so it wasn't a total waste of time...I just felt like it was!
And so because my English teacher canceled class she decided to make us do about 8 postings by 1:30pm today! So after Sociology I hung out in Suzzallo and got most of them done. And then we also had a posting we had to do for class by 10pm tonight. I couldn't believe that just because SHE missed class, she made US do a bunch of work! Soooooo not fair! But it wasn't too bad...I made a bunch of stuff up (sorta) and did my postings. haha
Ok...the Burke Museum is pretty cool! :-) My favorite section is the dinosaurs type section. :-) Haha, that was actually not as random as it sounds. Here's the connection...After doing my postings I got to hang out with Evan for a while (well...I did several postings while with him so...I didn't do them all first!) and we ended up walking through the Museum. I was supposed to walk through it when I was in my FIG class...but when we went it was closed. But it was probably a ton more fun walking it with Evan then it would have been with my FIG group...no, not probably, I know it was. (By the way...if you read this...Hi Evan!!) :-) hahaha
Wow, this ended up being a really long post. It was just going to be a short blurb of my frustration this evening. haha Oh well. I always talk more than I think or say I'm going too. Off to read and journal. :-) Night!!
P.S. Going Canoing Friday....SO EXCITED!
