Five Quarters Left

So since discovering I got into the school of Journalism I have been looking into my future with school...meaning, how long I have left. haha I figured out I have about 5 quarters left. Possibly 6 if some classes don't work out kind of thing but yeah. I'll be done in a year and two quarters! How exciting. And I looked into the possibility of trying to do photography at the UW, and that would add on another year if I decided to do that. I wont be deciding if I want to do that or not till next year so I have some time to think and pray about it. I'm not sure if I will want to spend an entire year longer at UW. I'm looking into the idea of just a few classes at an art school, maybe a certificate program....or maybe just interning or something! We'll see where the Lord directs. So, as of now, I will graduate with a major in Journalism and a minor in Comparative Literature after 3 years at UW. And if I do photography...it will be a double major in Journalism and Photography with a minor in Comparative Literature after 4 years at the UW. Pretty sweet, huh? :-)

I'm excited. I was actually shocked that I got in. Well...maybe not. But how I found out. I got an email. It was titled "Journalism." I almost deleted it thinking it was just another random email from the UW. Thank goodness I didnt! Then I opened it and read, " This is Diana in the Advising Office. I just wanted to welcome you all into the major." And then my jaw continued to drop and I yelled at my dad (who was in the same room) that I got into the Journalism department. Then continued to text and phone people in my excitement!! I'm a happy person right now. haha :-)

Anyways, tomorrow is my free day (no class!) so I'll be writing my paper and getting homework done...and editing photos from the wedding and working on my website. Sounds like a fun day to me! I'm really looking forward to writing this paper actually. I've absolutely devoured the article it is on...written and highlighted as much as I possibly can. I like the article its on. Although strange. Maybe I'll explain later. But yeah, I feel solid in my knowledge of the texts so I feel like it'll be a good paper. Got really really good reviews on my introduction from class today. Which made me happy. :-)

And...that's all! Maybe I'll hit the hay early tonight. Although, I have no need. ahh...love it.

This is such a random post.
