So back to the title of this blog! Mommy. Sooo...this is the first time she has ever gone or flied somewhere without my dad, or our family really. I'm still trying to figure out how dad and I will survive without her until Tuesday. Probably starve or something. Or maybe my dad will have to freshen up his cooking skills. Maybe I can bribe him to make bread again....hmmm...we'll see about that one. So anyways, mom gets back Tuesday night, works Wednesday, the first youth group is wednesday and then I move out on Thursday. :-( Don't get me wrong, I'm incredibly excited! Meeting tons of new people and girls and making new friendships and being involved in a wonderful Christian community and being so close to school and being independent...the list goes on. But it will definitely be weird. And harder cause I wont get to see mom much before then. Yes, I'm a mommy's girl. I'm also a daddy's girl as well. Dad and I are gonna go get dairy queen (we used to lots when I was little!) and possibly see a movie and he's probably gonna go with me to get a few last minute things for moving out. It'll be fun. But...yeah, just lots of change recently! Exciting....kind of scary and different, but exciting!
So I decided to be a high school youth leader this year! I am soo incredibly excited. We had a meeting last Tuesday to start planning and go over what the first youth group was going to look like and plan upcoming events. It got me SOO excited. :-)
So today my project is figuring out what all I need to take to school. And work more on the Children's Christmas Choir! I need to get the script done and completely figure out what I'm doing for music (having a CD, or actual people playing) and such.
Here is my list of what I can't forget to buy/bring to school that I don't already have in a pile in my closet: (This is mainly to remind myself!)
- Hair Spray
- Shampoo
- Conditioner
- Face Wash
- Backpack
- Pens/Pencils
- Notepads
- Scissors
- Blow Dryer
- Alarm clock
