P-I filming

This morning I woke up at 6:45am got up and ready and was on the Ave by 8am with Jane (a girl in my class) and we started filming interviews about what it would be like if the P-I was gone and how people would feel and which newspapers they read. It was SO much fun! I will definitely post the link to the finished product hopefully later today.

We realized when we were walking back and after the camera had died that we had only filmed men. So we started questioning why we did that...well we targeted people reading the newspaper, the older generation and people who simply seemed open to talk. The women we did ask rejected answering our questions. The friendliest was older gentlemen. We talked to one man who used to deliver the P-I. We also discovered that those who read the P-I thought that it was extremely different from the Seattle Times. Those who read the times knew nothing about the P-I and those who didn't read either thought that the P-I and the Times are exactly the same.

Interesting stuff huh?
