I moved back up to my house at school yesterday. I missed it. I loved being home, nothing can replace home and being with my family. Nothing ever will! Even one day when I have my own family, it won't be the same as being at home with my parents and brother. There is something comforting and relaxing about it. Yes, when I am at home I am a brat and complain and say it is stressful...but I love it. I love being able to run upstairs and talk with my mom about even the stupidest stuff! She seriously is my best friend. I have a lot of best friends these days. :-) She is my mother and my best friend though. And she knows that being my mom comes first, and I love her for that! :-) And my dad is basically amazing. He is always trying to find ways to draw our family closer...watching movies, going out to Pho (He's discovered its the new place to eat and now loves it!), watching silly British TV shows with my mom and I and stuff like that. He's great. He also spoils mom and I by making us Lattes each night. hehehe And of course my wonderful brother. I think we are better friends now then we ever have been. But I say that every year. He is a wonderful brother and I love watching him grow and mature and seeing him happy. He is always a wonderful encouragement to me and I know he sincerely wants the best for me and that is why he is allowed to be so hard on me - cause he loves me!
Anyways, little rant about my wonderful family. I miss them already! But anyways, back to moving in. I missed it here! It's so different from my house at home. Not that it is easier, better, worse or anything like that. The challenges I face here are different from the ones at home and the things I love here are different then the ones at home. Weird, I call both places home now. It gets confusing. But I missed the girls. Caitlin has become such a wonderful friend to me and I know we will get sick of each other one of these days cause we are the default people we hang out with but...it'll be good. :-)
I have so much time up here. Like right now! I have nothing to do. I already did some reading for my class (had my first class...perspectives on language...gonna be interesting but possibly incredibly boring!) and got bubble tea with Caitlin. Oh...fun part of the night...so Caitlin and i have a little post-it war going on. It started with her and Dirk attacking my text book last quarter and filling almost every page with a post it. Then I put post its around her computer. Then she put them around my cork board and then also when I came home yesterday they were all over my wall!! Sooo...I just finished putting 50 post-it's all over her bed. :-) heh heh heh Can't wait for her to get home.
Anyways, going to find something productive to do!
