360th post. Wow.

Whenever I go to start writing this blog, I want to quote You've Got Mail.

"I like to start my letters off to you as if we're already in the middle of a conversation. I pretend that we are the oldest and dearest of friends as opposed to which we actually are, people who don't know each other's names and met in a chatroom which we both claimed we'd never been to before. What will NY152 say today, I wonder. I turn on my computer, I sign on, I wait impatiently as it connects and my chest catches my breath as I hear three little words. 'You've Got Mail'. I hear nothing, not a sound on the city streets, just the beat of my own heart. I have mail --- from you."

And that would make no sense. But its ok. It's my blog. I can write what I want. Haha No I actually have a point behind it...I usually go to start my blog by saying, “I know I haven't blogged for a while but...” But everyone says that! And I would say that every time I write a blog because that is always the case. And that is my pointless rant.

I've been meaning to blog for a while. I was sick for a week and had plenty of time on my hands since I did not make it to class for an ENTIRE WEEK! But of course, being on the computer gave me a head ache. I hate that when I get sick I get head aches and can't even do what you do when you are sick – watch movies and sit on facebook all day. Yeah, it sucked. But I went home for the weekend and mommy spoiled me and now I'm actually feeling better! I was really sad thought because I had to miss my house retreat. :-( But oh well. You take life at it comes, right?

So...its official. The relationship everyone under the sun predicted (its ok, you can tell me that you told me so...cause you did). Dirk and I are officially dating. He's probably going to hate me for writing about this but...he'll live! :-) We became “official” last week, February 23rd. Although we both say we've been dating since kindergarden. Haha Or as Jenn said, more like courting. Since...you can't date when you are like..2...or...5...or however old we were when we met.

But we do have the same first memory of each other. Blue room. Kindergarden. It was my birthday so I was now old enough to leave with the older group and Dirk was jealous and didn't want me to leave. He tried to get me in trouble so I couldn't leave. But of course, I won cause I always win (heh) and got to leave. First Dirky memory! :-) But yeah, the little girl in me wants to like scream with excitement cause we're actually dating...hehehehehehehehehehe. But I'll resist. Maybe.

And this is the most random blog ever.

So I'm really excited now for next quarter. I was registered for all boring classes. Ethics. Mass Media Law. Economics. But I successfully dropped economics and got an add code for a special reporting topics class that is kind of a continuation of my digital journalism class. So I'm REALLY EXCITED! :-) heh So my future quarter is looking better. I discovered that I'm basically a Senior. I have like...33 credits left or something like that. Then...........SEATTLE ART INSTITUTE!!! I hope...its kinda expensive. So we'll see.
